I guessed when I first saw him that he was Naruto's dad.

I don't know who Kushina is... Is she Naruto's mom?

The english Naruto filler episodes end on January 31 2009, then it's just shippuden.

Kakashi's dad saved his friends instead of saving the village, so he was hated by Konoha and so he commited suicide.
