It's also pretty useful because it's a crowded corridor that vehicles insist to go through.

Use the heavy troopers gun and shoot aimlessly into the people there, then after you get the flag drop mines mindlessly?

Nope. You take a tank, go to the base, ram into their tank to get it out of the way. Then hop out, get the flag, get back into the tank, and go back. You don't even need to get out to capture it.

Neat, though I don't play capture the flag much. But if the other tank proves to be troublesome, just lay mines outside of the vehicle spawning point and then destroy their current tank. It should slow them down, plus you can see some explosions if the coms are dumb enough.

I think I should go to Jabba's Palace and place mines in front of the rancor, so when a person falls in they either blow up or get eaten.

I remembered that some guy once dropped mines down there. I hope in the next game, if there is one, that the rancor can do more. Like being able to reach up the trapdoor and grab people!

Yeah, but waiting close to the rancor can be dangerous. It could get you or someone can run into that room and shoot you, but watching someone getting eaten is worth it.
