Who's your favorite fighting style ES?

The thing I like abouti Soul Calibur is the diversty of the characters and the controls. If you're good at one character, you're not neccessarilly good at another.

Though that rule isn't entirely true because if you're good as Raphael you should be good as Amy, if you're good as Siegfried you should be good as Nightmare, and if you're good with Rock you definately would be good as Astaroth. I think you'd like Mitsurugi's (the katani wielder) fighting style, he can be pretty well used when mastered.

I personally like Mitsurugi's fighting style. It's good if you train in it, and it isn't too cheap. The only thing about it that may be considered cheap is his auto unblockable attack A if you have his ultimate weapon equipped. Some also find his high amout of low blows annoying.

It's actually a good thing. People have found it easy to be cheap as just about every style, Mitsirugi's is one of the few that isn't very cheap at all.

When he comes over, which I'm fine with any day next week (next meaning after Sunday). Perhaps you should get good with one of the Star Wars characters or Algol, ES. I'm good with Vader because he's well balanced and has some pretty unpredictable moves, but the Apprentice is fast and has strong force moves (at the expense of his force meter).

I was wondering what that one bar was under Vader's health bar. Eh, I'll try one of them, but you got to remember, I haven't played in maybe 5 years or so.

Hyperbole. Anywho, the only reason I wouldn't suggest any of the people Abyss suggested is because none of them can have customs made of their fighting style.

Actually I told Abyss I might try Nightmare's style. I'm sort of an Arthas fan, (A character from Warcraft/ my avvie), and he gets a blade that sort of looks like Nightmare's sword. Anyway, there were other soul calibur games, and I haven't played any of them for like...5 years.

Neat. Though no matter how good you get, don't expect to beat a Zasalamel fighting style. They just have so many advantages against Nightmares.

Why would you hear that alot? But It's only because he has about the same range as Nightmare, but he's faster. The thing I love about Zasalamel is that most of his moves are hooks, they'll pull you toward him instead of hitting you away.
