Yoda's not really worth it, in my opinion. Get some interesting equipment instead, it's also probably cheaper.

I knew I'd end up buying Yoda. However, I was looking at the old equipment as well, and I was wondering, is any of it like really good stat wise? I can easily make characters with skill points, but stats are becoming somewhat of a problem. I did however make an awsome custom using Taki's style.

I believe some of the stats for the new equipment are actually pretty good, but you'd have to check with Banryx/Ceyrox/internets. Yoda is annoying to fight against because you can't grab him and several of your moves just go over his head or certain combos don't work. I might've actually used the stage he comes with more than I've used him.

Yes. Grabbing repeadeatly also works well online with Yoda, if you're willing to put up with complaints. Unfortunately, Yoda has a nack for ringing himself out, considering most of his moves involve jumping.

Except when the opponents have that skill that allows them to negate being grabbed. Yoda can be good if you manage to string together a lot of his moves for large combos that take up his force power surprisingly quickly.

Yes, that's true. Also, Yoda is surprisingly slow.

He has short stubby legs! What'd you expect? I hate complaints, even if they're from Ceyrox/Banryx.

I mean, for a master Jedi who's super stubby and jumps everywhere (And he can jump a good 50 feet at that), he's pretty slow.

As in his fighting style is surprisingly slow. Oddly Critical Finishes have a different animation on Yoda. Instead of the traditional Critical Finish, the character does a fire move and Yoda falls back as if he had a heart attack.

I have yet to preform a critical finish.

Ever? But there so easy, that is if the red sparks appear. If you're having trouble, equip Soul Gauge Damage, or Sould Gauge Vamp. They both work wonders.

Yes, and there are certain characters that can do more damage to the Soul Gauge. Yun-Seong, Cervantes, and Vader are all quite good at damaging the Soul Gauge, though most lightning moves will suffice.

I have gotten the red sparks quite a few times, but I keep hitting "L2" instead of "L1". Wait, I do recall getting a critical finish, but the game hasn't counted it. Maybe because I just played a special multiplayer battle, and fought the computer.

That would be the reason. It has to be in Arcade, Story Mode, onliine, or ToLS.
