I figured I would put this up. This may have been obvious, but the Generation IV have been hinting for Gold and Silver remakes.

Though seriously, I would've believed it to be real. o_0
Gen. II was my favorite generation, and I can't play my Gold Silver OR Crystal, cause the Time feature drained the battery too much
Rumors for names have been DuskGold and DawnSilver
As well as more. So, wouldn't remakes be cool?

After Platinum comes out, they might say whether or not they will make remakes, but since the made remakes of Red and Green, and Nintendo usually responds to what fans what most of the time, it seems likely..
PLUS, I'm not sure if I said this already, but Nintendo has trademarked the names DuskGold and DawnSilver.

The proof for me is that if you hack into Diamond/Pearl/Platinum they can have the original region as 'Johto' (Like Kanto or Hoenn if you migrate), if they don't plan on making remakes, they should've just left it out.

We still don't know if platinum has the same Data. Besides, the idea could have easily been scrapped.
