I know this is kinda random but you reminded me of Science today.

We have gas nozzles on every desk for chemistry labs, but they're permanantly off unless Mrs. Beelner (My teacher) hits a certain button that makes gas flow through the pipes. Then I can turn the nozzle whenever. It made me nervous because today we were sampling the Bunsen Burner and she had the gas on, and students were figuring it out and the entire classroom was filled with methane gas. She had to cancel her demonstration or the entire classroom would light up with fire.

Yeah, I'd be pretty nervous as well. Though the chances of someone doing something that would cause a flame or spark are pretty slim, but it'd still be uncomfortable.

No, we were demonstrating the Bunsen Burner. It's a fire tool, and it ignites with a two inch flame.
