Well, Blizzard makes it, It is essentially the prequal to World of Warcraft. I play it, our GWAE (Good Wonderful and Awesome Emperor) (Incase you want to change your name again Sula.) (No, it would not be an improvement), Treeko (So he never posts, whatever) Shadow (Same story) all play it. So yeah, it's fun. It is an RTS about War. Good moding.

Heck, maybe it can pull for a Sub-sction if htts gets enough interest.

Anyways, I play as undead. Summoning buildings saves time, resources, and food in the long run. Necrowagoning (Combine Necromancers with Meat Waggons, add Skeletal Mastery/Longevity and Exhume Corpse and you have a force to be reckoned with. Poison Cloud can give a bonus as well) is an awesome combo.

No, I'll stick with 'Sula. Anyway, I've come to let you know about a few "tests" I've done/the results.

1) The strategy I had of taking over an enemy/ally worker had mixed
results. First, it is possible to for me to do it, as long as you guys can
help distract them. However, I will be unable to take over an ally
worker. Second, I might require additional cover while the one
worker I'll have is building a Town Hall.

2) If we work together perfectly, the result should always be victory. A
couple things the computers always seemed to do was...

2A) Build their forces, heros first. This way, it can level up somewhat
faster.
2B) Attacked only creatures on their own. They attacked as a
group when taking out enemy bases.
2C) We might want to try this, but I'm not sure if I recomend it; cover
each others bases while that team mate is close to finishing
their group.

3) You guys must perfect "Hotkeys". Basicly, if you have, for example, a
hero, and two knights, build your forces while they are fighting!
To do this, simply click on a barracks or some building, then hit "ctrl"
and "2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8". (I recomend saving "1" for your main
attack force.) Then whenever you hit the number, it'll show that
building! So, yeah, attack, but always make more units while doing so.

4) Set "rally points" on your hero! This is a very effective strategy, and is
soooo basic. Simply take the "Flag" thing from a building, and click on
your hero. That way, all your new units will instantly go to him/her.
(The other way to do it is to click on a building, then just right click on
your hero.)

These are the results, and also just basic tips I know.

Interesting. I think the strat could work. With the right coverfire. Hotkeys, I set One on my Assault group, one on my Necromancer group, the rest I use when necassary. So set some to my buildings? Kay. Rally Point is comon knowledge, works to add people to a group without taking more then 10 spaces. Also, make more than one building. It's smart, plus (at least with the Undead) it puts a use to those resources that ubild up very quickly.

That idea with multiple buildings is kind of flawed. See, if you build like two graveyards, its just a waste of your gold & wood. Anyway, it seems you may have what it takes to be ready Freeze. Just practice whenever you have the chance.

Also, it seems the computers like to do one other thing...Build in each others' bases!

That might help, so I just brought it up. Oh, the Undead "insane" computer, just uses basic units pretty much half of the game. So, keep that in mind.

I believe its decided that at 8:00 p.m. tonight, we are at war! Now, I've been testing a few things out before this battle, and I hope it'll help.

1) It'll take me around 10 min. to get a good attack force going, or get
one finished as the Undead. Mainly since my attack force contains
Gargoyles, Crypt Feinds, and my Hero. (I might even use two.)

2) Attacking in groups of two is always more effective at taking out a
base than attacking a base alone. We SHALL use this method.

2A) While the two groups/people are attacking, the other group can
guard the bases, attack any other "Creeps" in the area, and if they
need to, build up their forces.

3) The attacks on our enemies bases tonight will simply be named...
Operation A- Attack Mr. Blue
Operation B- Attack Mrs. Blue
Operation C- Attack Max/Maxxer

3A) Other attacks or distractions will be named...
Operation Samples Please- This is where I need cover to steal
a worker or wisp.
Operation Peck- Simply go send weaker units to "peck" at the
enemy base.
Retreat- Just get the hell back to our side of the map!
Regroup- In the likely attempt that our bases are destroyed, make
sure you have some extra gold & wood so we can have
our workers rebuild a base. However, I recomend we
fuse the base then. It'll be too dangerous for all of us to
rebuild a town hall for each of us. Oh, one more thing. If
our bases are destroyed we have two minutes before the
map gives away our location.

Remember, we are going against foes with 20 years of exp. here...So don't do anything "stupid". We will show them the true power of the Oceanic Empire!

Warcraft offically just Pisses me off.

God, going up against a freakin' level 10 hero is completely gay. It seriously is retarded. The entire hero system is flawed beyond belief. God, someone tell me how to train these freakin' heroes or I'm never going to play that freakin' game again.

.....I know it is. the easiest way to trainis just battling your foes, and "Creeps" on the map. Follow me when we battle if you need an example.

Should there be a specific thread for Battle.net? After all, it is a whole other experience. I really want this to turn into a sub-section. Quickly, to get a sub-section you need 5 threads! How can we split this into 5 threads!?!!

Indeed, victory was ours. However, I requested a rematch after our second battle, and I'm upset from the results. (Yes, that counted as a defeat for the O.E.) Anyway, I'll be training a little while I'm away, so you two better start as well.

World Editor? Then again, I'm the only person who find interest in it. I'd just talk with myself, like normal. charles would (of course) join me. Campaign? Nah. To, common chatlike. I...... Don't know...... Battle.net Schedule thread, to schedule these kind of things? Still..... Don't know.

New strat, go against a computer that plays as your favorite race. Then save the replay and watch him like a hawk.

Turns out, you have to win, strategy is now a fail. But it seems that making alot of standard units work.

anyone have a new strat to try? and a question for freeze:
when I make custom units in world editor, when I play the map, the custom units aren't there.. do you know how to make them appear?

Moddify the TechTrees. And you can't have the normal starting locations. You have to modify them.

You can get the replay after a battle. (Its really not that hard.) Anyway, click the "SAVE REPLAY" button on the result screen that shows your scores. Then just name it, and save it.
