Now, I will say I'm not normally in support of a monarchy- but this is a gaming clan, not a real country (as you have stated multiple times). And, since we originally organized this as a feudal system, long before you joined, it shall remain as such.

EDIT: Sorry, Banryx, didn't see your post. Yes, I known that feudal systems are not the most democratic setups, but, at the time of the Empire's founding, we all agreed that it was preferable anyway.

How is the fact that someone was naked objectable?! It was only in one post. Sometimes a ruler tells someone to do something. But then that person sees a better way. They do it. You were just being stupid and not realizing the much more simple way!

I suppose talking about that in a movie could lead people to see it for perverse reasoning, though I doubt it. Have you guys talked about movies at all in this thread, ah yes, you guys have. So an entire topic was deleted because someone stated that there was something perverse in a movie. It's upsetting, as the 'problem' could be fixed by one post being deleted instead of hundreds.

Watchmen was one of the greatest movies I've seen in a long time! Unfortunately I saw a bit more of Dr. Manhattan than I would have liked...

Definately! Watchmen was actually better than I expected, even though some Nite Owl and Silk Spectre moments were boring. And yes, I agree, there was too much of Dr. Manhattan in there; though I'll probably just skip past the parts with him like that. Rorshach was such an awesome character. "Dont forget; I'm not locked in with you, you're all locked in with ME!"

I agree, Rorshach was awesome. And I'm comfortable enough with my hetrosexuality to not mind Doctor Manhattan's preference as much as it would self-conscious people. I'll probably still get the movie on DVD.

Anyone seen a trailer for the new animated movie, 9? The movie is actually pretty dark compared to the producer's other movies, such as A Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline. (I forgot his name)

Also, will anyone see Public Enemies? Both it and Terminator Salvation are the two movies I'm really looking forward to. (Plus they both have Christian Bale!)

No, it was a great movie. Borderline as good as Watchmen, though probably the characters weren't as in-depth. But I highly suggest seeing it, one of my favorite movies of all time.

I don't like animated movies very much.

I haven't seen many previews for Public enemies, but Terminator looks good.

Abyss, is that District 9 you're talking about. If so, then it's not animated Banryx. You saw previews for that when seeing Wolverine. With the alien. I think it looks really cool.

My dad thought that the new Transformers movie trailer was actually the new Bionicle movie. Sad thing is, it does seem a lot like it. Seems like it has cheesy humor paced throughout it and I already hate the names; plus hearing the main character yell "OPTIMUS!!one!" sort of convinced me not to see it unless it has good reviews.

I saw Star Trek, it was great. I never had an interest in Star Trek before this and I think they can actually manage to make a sequel to that prequel.

Well, the little trekkie groups I have come in contact with it did not like it.

And I don't think age has anything to do with being a trekkie. She is a Star Trek Nerd and that is what counts for me.

Anyways, has anyone here seen a trailer for District 9 or Public Enemies? Both look like very good movies and the first one has a very original plot (or story, I forgot which).

District 9 is a movie about aliens assimilating into South African culture and being harshly mistreated. The movie has an underlining message of xenophobia and looks like a welcome change from alien war movies. This movie is based off of the short film made by the man who's directing District 9 and is making the new Halo film.

Public Enemies is about gangsters and bank robbers during the Great Depression, it features Johnny Depp and Christian Bale.
