Favorite Movie?Which Star Wars was your favorite. I liked Episode 2, Attack of the Clones!

Phantom menace, or Return of the Jedi.

I know, it's wierd. Maybe this forum doesn't like Star Wars, because it should be equal.

I didn't like The Phantom Menace or The Clone Wars. The Phantom Menace had terrible acting by the kid who played Annakin; The Clone Wars seemed jumbled in my opinion. Though they had great fighting scenes! I guess I'll vote for The Empire Strike Back, classic!
|
Lord Duality
|
The Revenge of the Sith was the worse.
|
Dread Abyss
|
Yeah, they killed Grievous' character right when they introduced him. So much potential... plus I didn't like how Annakin turned to the dark side.
|
Lord Duality

The fight seens were also pretty boring.

NS_Venom

Agreed. Really the only fun battle was the one where Windu gets his arm cut off.

Forgot that one.

I also thought that part was stupid, Annakin had a good point and Mace should've agreed.

If he did, he'd get his arm cut off anyway.

Revenge of the Sith was the best one! And what do you mean Attack of the Clones was jumbled? Maybe you're just too stupid to follow it! (Just kidding)

The main reason I didn't like Attack of the Clones was because of Annakin's relationship. In the first movie Padme is like 15 years older than him! The age difference and the fact that I've been reading reviews of movies and saw the Star Wars movies' reviews made me dislike it.
And I'm a bit stoopid.:D

For starters, Padme is only six years older than Anakin. They even say she is the youngest queen of Naboo, and that she is SIXTEEN. Anaking is ten in that movie, so they only have a six year difference! And Revenge of the Sith had the best fight scenes. Have you even watched episodes IV-VI? They had terrible effects, I mean really.
The fight scenes in Revenge of the Sith were the best choreographed, and I don't see why you didn't like Anakin turning to the dark side. From movie one it has showed that he is very emotional, and in movie two it showed his passion for revenge. Obviously, Abyss, you don't know what it is like to lose someone very close to you, and to what lengths you would be willing to go to stop that from happening. She was even carrying his baby! That's like double kill. Seriously, I do not know where you guys are getting all these facts and ideas.

Ah, you make a good point. Well it seemed to me that Annakin was a lot younger and vice-versa for Padme. Plus I haven't watched Phantom Menace for a while. Revenge of the Sith had some good fight scenes, Annakin vs Obi-wan and Sidious vs Annakin and Obi-wan. I disliked Revenge of the Sith because it made Sidious look really pathetic & the same with Grievous. Even though Episodes IV-VI had bad graphics they were still good for the time & were pretty great movies.
I thought that Annakin turning to the dark side was clever, but not well enforced in the movie. It was like Annakin wanted to save her, plus break away from all the rules he had looked up to as a child and the same rules he was taught to follow during his youth. But Palpatine told him he could save his girlfriend, so he'd have to teach him the dark side and Annakin does this with little remorse as he hurts hundreds of people. Then he didn't care what happened to her, as if he had gone insane (which doesn't match Vader's personality). I liked these aspects in the movies, like in the first movie he had a lust for freedom; in the second movie he had that freedom as a jedi, but he was still a lot like a child; and in the third movie he was emotionally fragile so he tried making a family out of Padme (wife), Obi-wan (older brother), and Palpatine (father). Plus I don't like the weakness of the droids & how it's never explained what happens to them.
Sorry if it this didn't sound right (or nice), I've had a headache for the last hour or so.

I think it was a perfectly good reason why Anakin turned to the Dark Side. His mom (Whom he hardly knew) just died, and now the same thing was likely going to happen to Padme. He would do anything to save her, and then he gets support and power(Being promoted onto the council) from Chancellor Palpatine, who has always backed him up and never let him down. Then when Obi-Wan asks him to spy on the Chancellor, Anakin feels betrayed. After all, who's side would a Jedi take, a defenseless old man who has always been there for Anakin or Obi-Wan, who, although this is beside the point, has killed before. After the Jedi, in Anakin's eyes, try to kill the one person who can save Padme, Anakin accidentally kills a master. To him, there was no going back after that. He had made his decision, or it was made for him, and he had to stick to it or he would wind up with nothing.
I will admit his quickness to attack younglings was very shocking and unrealistic, but he was driven with hate, revenge, passion, and grief. The only reason he attacked Padme was because he had sunk so far into the Dark Side, what was originally a charitable attempt to save Padme turned into an even more malicious attempt to exterminate Jedi. At that point in time his beautiful Padme had sided with Jedi, and as confused as he was he saw her as a Jedi, saw her as the enemy. The reality of what happened didn't hit him until later, after the Jedi were dealt with, and after it was too late.

I personally liked all of them except V. There wasn't much of a story until the end, and the fight scenes weren't very good. The only good scene was the "Luke, I am your father" part. All the other movies are EXTREMELY well done, however. Not a bad part.
And it IS explained what happens to the droids if you listen carefully. Palpatine tells Vader to "Give the order that all droid units are to be deactivated" right after Anakin/Vader massacres the Sepratist leaders.

Not a bad part? Not even child Annakin's terrible acting? I think the first three movies were good, but it was like they were leading up to something but never got around to doing it. They developed the personalities of new characters and created the powerful army of droids, but they just got rid of them in the third movie.
Grievous and Maul should've been in it more, darn it!
