I still think Melee is the best Super Smash Bros. game. Melee was so fun! It actually took a while to get characters, not in less than a week like Brawl. Brawl's improvements were better graphics, some new characters, Final Smash, and the story mode. It does seem like a lot, but when compared to Melee... well it was a bit of a disappointment for me.

I beat the maze and got the characters, thats all I really cared about.
Plus, Abyss, Wi-fi makes Brawl the best!

Melee was the game for me when I got the Gamecube. I just had to beat Subspace Emissary within two days to get all the characters, I got Wolf right afterwards. Though Subspace Emissary was a great story, it didn't have much use after you beat it. Custom courses with selectable music was a great improvement, plus wi-fi was cool (even if it was almost always glitchy for me).8)
