Kingdom Hearts: A Lost Franchise?

What do YOU think. The three new games have been postponed about two years now... not coming out until at least late 2009. Which is sad. Not to mention I want to see a console version soon... KH3 would be nice in my videogame lifetime. Oh well, so my question is, do you think it'll come back soon, die out, or what? And if not that, what do you hope is in the next game?

Yes, it is sad. Birth by Sleep is going to be sweet. Since Final Fantasy XIII is finished, they're probably working on the finishing touches of BbS and 358/7 days, and starting work on KH3. Hopefully, I mean, what other games does Square Enix make?

True, but I hear they want to release fifty thousand more FF games within the next month... still won't be the most ridiculous it ever has been.

So whadya guys hope'll be in the next game? I hope you can be Riku at the end like you could in RE: CoM. What if you could make your own custom keyblade, or clothes, or armor or something.

I think it would be cool if you could have more than three people in your party, and if you could switch out and be Donald or Goofy. And that Donald and Goofy would help more.

In 358 by 2 days their is a co-op mode where you can be any of the Organazation XIII members. BTW, for those who are interested, here are some videos you might like:

I'll tell you this. It's scheduled to come out in Japan December 2009, and hopefully in America a few months after that. The plot is that Terra, Ven, and Aqua all discover they have keyblades, and are seeking to become the Keyblade master, by defeating Xehanort. Master Xehanort and his apprentice have gone missing, and they think it is because of Maleficent. One of the three of them betray the others, though, and there's that video of Xemnas looking at the armor the three of them wear and saying "its been a long time, old friend". Its set ten years in the past, and each player has no party members. You can play any of the 3 storylines, and you can play as each character. It has very similar gameplay to Kingdom Hearts 2, as well. You fight mysterious creatures called unbirths, who have some relation to heartless and nobodies, though we're not sure what. Also there's some sort of version of drives, and powerful combos come in the form of cards.
